Athena Online is a free fantasy world you play in the browser. You make a hero, walk Dewmere with everyone else, and keep the story going on the forums when you leave the field.
Combat is real time. Progression is a Base Level up to 99, built on five stats: Strength, Vitality, Dexterity, Intelligence and Luck. The market sells looks, not power. The hall records who has climbed furthest.
The forum keeps the record between adventures: threads, signatures and the stories the meadow does not hold. Heroes walk the same Dewmere, and you can watch the brook before you make a name.
We ship in the open, listen on the forums, and keep the gate free. Bring a name. The meadow is already there.
